how do i find out what my IP address is?
isn't there a simple DOS command?

From within windows at the 'run' command you can use winipcfg. Make sure the selected item is your actual network card, and not the PPP adapter.

and from nt or 2000.. you would go to run, type cmd.. then from the dos box you would type ipconfig

cool. you can also do that in Win98. Open a DOS window and type "ipconfig" ... thanks.
