OK I know this will sound stupid, but how do I play the DVD-ROM features on my Matrix DVD. I just got a DVD drive for my PC and can't figure this out.

Install PC friendly! It can be found when you pop-in the disc!

I tried using PC Friendly but nothing happens. I have Windows 2000, and 2 CD drives. D: = CD-RW and E: = CD-ROM/DVD
I checked the PC Friendly website but couldn't find an answer. Any ideas?

I haven't had very good luck with PC Friendly. I've also heard the version that comes with the Matrix has some problems (I think there's a fix for it at the PCFriendly Web site). Personally I find it a lot easier to browse the files on the DVD and check out the DVD-ROM features that way.

I would like to report the problem has been solved. I wrote PC Friendly tech support and they said the following:

The setting in PCFriendly to change drive letters does not function under
Win2000/NT because of registry differences. Here is what you will need to do
in order to set our software to the proper drive letter so the content will
display correctly. Make sure you are logged in as Administrator or
equivalent before proceeding. These settings only affect PCFriendly and will
not affect any other programs on your system:

1. Click Start, choose Run, type REGEDIT and hit OK.
2. In the Registry Editor, please go to the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > INTERACTUAL TECHNOLOGIES > PCFRIENDLY >
MAIN. Make sure that you have the MAIN folder selected.
3. Look for a value in the Data Window called CD PATH. If it's there, double
click it to Modify, if it isn't, right click in the Data Window and choose
NEW > STRING VALUE, then name it CD PATH, and double click it to Modify.
4. In the Modify box, enter the drive letter of your DVD drive, followed by
a colon. Example - E:
5. Click OK on the Modify and close Registry Editor, then restart the
system. When it comes up, try PCFriendly again. The content should display
properly now.

Always the sign of a well-designed program when you have to start pissing about with your registry settings to make it work properly
