I am still using ISDN connection here for internet, and my service provider just asked me if i want to go with ADSL system?I know its fast speed but other than that, whats the benefit? The monthly rate is a bit higher about $15 than ISDN as I have an unlimited usage package for both of them. But the real problem is that I have to buy a ADSL modem which is $350 and throw away my ISDN equpiments which jacks up the cost.

Find out the upload/download speeds of both and evaluate based on that, how much you're online, and how much your time is worth.

I do surf the net a lot but not allways, and the only place i go every hour is either this forum or to check my mail. Well does it get congested like ISDN? If the speed drops then ISDN is the same.
