How is this UPS?

I currently have a APC BE450G (450VA) that i picked up a while ago for like $20. I have a portable AC unit, and when it turns on, the power dips, and the UPS beeps, but the computer does not shut off.

I was thinking, due to the power dips, that it may be better to get aCyberPower CP850AVRLCD, for $50. Is this much better than the BE450G, and would it be better for my application with power dips?
