dropping RoadRunner - other options?

We're doing some downsizing at home and are seriously thinking about dropping RoadRunner as the Internet Provider.

Actually we have Time Warner and are dropping pretty much everything, we're just thinking about RoadRunner.

What other options are out there for fast, reliable broadband?

There might be good rates on DSL service in your area but check for fees.

Re: dropping RoadRunner - other options?

We have the RoadRunner Turbo which is 10Mbps, but they have the standard which is 7Mbps.

I looked at AT&T/Bell South DSL and there fastest speed (ie turbo) is only 6bps and is basically the same price as RR Turbo, so I may just stick with RR for the sake of a few $$.

Ouch, RR Turbo here is 20 Mbps and Standard is 10Mbps.

I technically have the cheapo 10mbps plan, but running speedtest on my iPhone I average 8-15 Mbps depending on the time and day.

I have Time Warner, too. I want Verizon Fios, but it's not available here yet. The fastest speed I can get with Verizon now is 1.5

No thanks.
