Kodak wireless printer

I just purchased one at Best Buy (same price at Walmart plus bonus inkers!)
and have never had such an experience with technical support!

Previously used an HP but everytime I turned around I was having to replace several color ink cartridges when mostly I printed in B&W.

I dread calling technical support realizing most are outsourced, but this time I had to.

I spent four hours on the phone trying to understand the rep. Several times both of us got into a screaming match but finally got the problem solved.
He kept asking me to hold while he contacted a supervisor. When I asked him if I could talk to a supervisor, I was told I couldn't. He even asked me if I could hold a few minutes while he got coffee!

Hopefully anyone else buying a Kodak printer and needing assistance will not get this same person.

I'm curious... what was the problem that took 4 hours with tech support on a printer?

And, I'm quite often on enterprise level calls with various vendor support and its not uncommon for them to need to step away for a moment for whatever. Maybe he needed to hit the head after being on a few hours...

Re: Kodak wireless printer

I couldn't get connected to the new printer via wireless connection so I called. Somehow he did something that put my PC in safemode and said the Kodak CD rom wouldn't load. He spent most of the four hours trying to return my computer to original setting. I'm by no means an expert so I have no idea what he was doing - nor did he I think.

Asking me to hold while he talked to a supervisor shows he had to have someone else try to figure out the problem. Why I couldn't have been transferred, I don't know.

Anyway, I hate outsourcing! Americans could do the job here!
