Re: The one and only ANDROID thread....

Speaking of the Moto z force, you can get it for a buck on service contract. If you prefer a finance contract then the z is $425,z force $525.it will come with the jbl speaker

Right. I'm sort of in the market for a new phone and this one is kind of intriguing, but I remember waiting around for updates to the original Moto X years ago, and I've heard that Motorola hasn't gotten any better about them lately.

For quick security updates, go with the Nexus, followed by the Galaxy s or note line

I noticed my BLU's charger also works for the LG Optimus L9. Not that I plan on doing so, but will there be any harm done if I use it for other people's phones?

Is there anything I can do about the weak, tiny speaker for the BLU phone? That's probably my only known flaw about the phone.

Is it weak on phone calls? Or do you mean for playing music and watching videos? Do you have it in a case?

Re: The one and only ANDROID thread....

I like the edge design, IP68 rating, bigger battery (vs Note5) and USB-C. I'm on the fence on the iris scanner, and am disappointed with 4GB RAM and the design (not distinctive enough from the S7 Edge).

Also, I like their decision to name it Note7 instead of Note6.

64 GB internal storage is now standard. Take that, Apple!

I think I'll stick with my Note5 and wait for the Note8. Not enough here for me to switch, and the Note5 turned out to be a strong and good-looking model.

It's certainly an incremental upgrade, the note 5 is still a solid phone.

Re: The one and only ANDROID thread....

Water resistance and bigger battery are appealing, but not enough to make me switch. The edge design is nice too. I like that Samsung seems to make that the new standard for their flagship models.

I love how edge looks, hate it in practice.

Why do you say that? I've tried it a few times and liked it, even though I wish there were more apps that took advantage of that feature.

I pre-ordered a Note 7 yesterday @ Best Buy for Verizon. Same offer.

So the question is.. which should I get? I already have a Gear s2 watch which has most of what the fit has to offer.. AND I have a 64gb sd card in my phone already which I plan to just move over to my new phone.

New phone will have 64gb internal memory already + 64 with this SD card is 128gb and I think that will be enough for me.

So right now, at BB, the Gear Fit 2 is going for about $149.99 (reg $179.99). The 256gb SDXC Micro, the particular one listed in the offer, is $249.99.

So it would seem my best option is to get the sd card and resell it right? But not sure how many people are going to pony up that much for a 256gb sd card.

Any thoughts?

I think the fit 2 would be an easier sell. You can pick up a 200gb microSD for $60-80.granted only u1, and the Samsung one is u3 but the number of people who need a very fast 256gb card is small, especially at $250.I suspect very high supply, very low demand on the card once people get theirs.

That's a heck of a deal. Is the off contract price $850?
