Playing DVD with a O/C system.

I noticed my disc is very hot when playing disc with a O/C system compare to a non-o/c system.


anyone else?

Not mine, I O/C it too, but the disc is not VERY hot after playing.....

Sounds like you're not doing adequate cooling. Better get another fan or something before you burn everything up.

If you have a really fast drive (16X DVD or faster) that amy happen as well. May be moreso if it's on an OC system (but really depends on the fsb).

Mine gets pretty hot too. That's normal for some drives to get warm.

Just how warm are we talking here?

Did anybody happen to notice the comparison of the poster's disc temperature on the O/C vs the non-O/C system? If this is the same system, and the disc is in for the same amount of time, well, you do the math.
