Concerns using HDMI to DVI adaptor for PC

Dell replaced my faulty computer this week, but they gave me a video card with no HDMI in. Instead, they included a DVI adaptor if I want to use a HDMI cable from my monitor. There shouldn't really be a difference in video quality should there? I have audio coming in from an RCA jack and am fine with that. I'm not even sure I own a DVI cable, but maybe that would be preferable to using this adaptor.

I'm trying to see if there is anything to be concerned about while I still have the chance to call Dell and fix this if need be. Can't really complain too much since they gave me Windows 7 Pro instead of the Vista OS I was using before!

Nothing to be concerned about, they are both digital signals. I have been doing this for quite some time
