I got an email this evening and thought I'd repost it so he can get more input.

In November, I bought a PC system including a Samsung SD-608 DVD-ROM.

This played fine with all DVD's until recently when I found that the colours in the picture were suddenly out of sync. It now looks sort of like watching a 3D movie without the glasses. Black and white version of the movie in the background and red and green shadows (ghosts) of the picture. Sound is OK.

I have 4 different DVD software packages installed on my PC and they all give exactly the same results. I have tried several DVDs that I tested elsewhere, and that worked OK on my DVD-ROM before the glitch.

Can you please help ?

Your best bet right now would be to reinstall your video card drivers and maybe even directX.

Gee, there couldn't be any problem with 4 different DVD software packages installed, could there?

LOL!! I just got an ATI video card(Radeon64), which gave me my fourth DVD software also!! Haven't used the new software yet, though.

Don't bother. It sucks compared to PowerDVD.

Maybe try a third party company for drivers like NVIDIA. That worked for me when I had problems with my TNT2 Ultra.

The ATI DVD player is in fact Cinemaster. Use WinDVD 2.3, it has the best image and sound quality IMO.
