i've been using AOL IM for quite a while now, but all of a sudden, something weird is happening and i don't see anything in preferences to change it...

when i open IM, the buddy list is 'docked' in the far right part of the screen, where it always is.. but all of a sudden, it 'tiles' itself with the other open windows.
instead of staying on top of the other windows, it 'snaps' into place and tiles itself, making all other windows end where the IM window begins.. also, the minimize/maximize buttons disappear, and the close button becomes smaller... i tried checking off 'keep buddy list on top', but that didn't work... any ideas??

From AIM help file:

To dock your Buddy List (or undock in your case ) :

1. On the My AIM menu, point to Edit Options, and then click Edit Preferences.

2. Click the Buddy tab.

The Buddy window appears on your screen.

3. Click Buddy List window can be “docked” on left or right of screen.

4. Click OK.

5. Drag your Buddy List window as far as you can to the left or right of the screen.

The service snaps the Buddy List window in place. To minimize the Buddy List window while it is docked, right-click in the Buddy List window title bar to display a shortcut menu, and click Minimize.
