Need more C++ help

I want to create a database of my MP3s. What I want to be able to do (that I need help on) is to give the program a directory and have it go through and find all MP3 files in the directory and in all subdirectories beneath that. I would like to use functions/clases that are not machine specific because I want to be able to compile this under both Linux and Windows.

I know how to deal with files in C++, just not how to get a list of them. Whatever functions I use will probably also have to get atributes of the files in a directory so that I know if an item is a file or a directory.

I don't know how you would write it so the code is platform independent, but for win32, see this page: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/ps...lesio_1esv.htm
