Is there such a thing as a USB, portable, magnetic strip reader?

If it could write too that would be cool.

Did some searches, came up emptyhanded.

Not sure really, it just seems like a cool thing to have!

Guess they dont exist tho

Yes, they do exist. I'll have to take a look through some catalogs to remember where I saw them. Actually, I think I remember. I'll dig up the catalog and get back to you in a while.

Have you done a search of the web?

Here is a company selling combination keyboard/mag strip reader/writers. Click on the top keyboard to get to the page. The reader only ones are on the top, writers are below. And use IE to view their site.

Just readers for magstripes tho.

A USB box that you just plugged in too, would be way cool, compared to a huge keyboard.
