My brother just sent me a zip file with pictures fron his trip to Las Vegas. Every time i try to open them , i get an illegal operation warning and am unable to view the pictures. The error message keeps on saying that Mspaint caused an invalid page fault. I use Winzip version #8 and have not had a problem viewing pictures in the past. Is there anything else i can use to view zip files? Thanks for your help in advance.

did you unzip it first or tried to open right from the zip file?

try opening them with Photoshop (if you have it)

I unzipped the file and all the links to the photos opened up in a new window just like they always do. The problem occurs when i click on them, they seem to start to open up and then i get the error message. This only happens with the photos. I was able to unzip and view the 30 second video my brother sent me. Unfortunately , I don't have photoshop on my computer at home. Thanks again for helping out a computer novice like myself.
