I've been burning CDs for about 2 years now and I was trying to burn a few songs off The Offspring's new CD. I usually use Easy CD creator and record them to .wav files, but there are no CD track files or anything just some .dxr and .x32 files along with some quicktime videos. It's a SONY/Columbia disc ,and maybe some of their other discs are like this, so if anybody could help me out, I'd appreciate it. Thanks

this is a mixed mode CD

you should be able to double click on your CD drive inside of Adaptec. It will bring up the audio tracks if you do that... I think.

When I do this, it brings up the menu for the videos/extras.

I had the same problem with the Shaggy cd, I eventually had to just convert them to high bitrate mp3's then to a disc.

Howd you do that, i can't even find anything to convert. The only way i've found the audio files so i can even play them is with RealJukebox, bt since I don't have the registered version, I can't do anything with them
