are there vcd freeware???

does anybody out there know of any vcd software that is freeware that will allow you to automatically play vcd's. i know windows media player can play vcd's, but i want a true vcd player.

Not really sure where to move this one, but it's not DVD..so I am guessing PC, since it's software related.

Windows Media Player will do it. I used it to watch my Drunken Master VCD from Hong Kong. Worked like a charm on my PII233 box, with a 24X CD-ROM (I think 24X).

Yeah but he just said he doesn't want to play it with media player. I don't blame hime i hate Media player. I didn't know xing did i have that program. You know I am not sure what else, will some of the soft dvd players play them?

Oops, didn't see the Media Player comment. PowerDVD will play VCDs but I haven't tried it on Cinemaster yet though.
