Can you add a USB port?

My friend has an older PC without a USB port, and he just got a webcam USB. Can he buy a card or something, or must he buy a whole new computer?

yes- if he has win 98 or me or 2000. they all support usb. i am not sure about NT. win 95 will not support usb from what i understand.

actually the 2nd version of win95 does have support for USB. you are better upgrading to win98 anyways, though.

I heard it included usb support. however every usb device i have seen says you must have win 98. I had understood that the support under win 95 is difficult to work with so there is no driver support for it. i guess you could just use win 98 drivers for the usb devices and hope they work .
