I just loaded up Netscape 6, and it's pretty darn swift! Some other forums that were slow-loading are now blazingly fast! It helps that I'm on Cable modem, but with Netscape 4.74, I was having to click the reload button every now and then to get a thread to load, but not with Netscape 6.

Have there been any major problems with Netscape 6 that I should worry about?

I noticed that they haven't released a new version of Communicator, so reading newsgroups still has to be done with my current Communicator 4.74 that is loaded on my PC for now.

It's kind of funky. Not quite good enough to be your primary browser, there are some features missing that take a while for you to discover -- you'll see. And some sites will just junk it up.

But if you don't mind restarting a couple times a day, and less functionality, use it. I'm still back at 4.75 which also junks up a couple times a day.

Hah, when I'm cruising the newsgroups for *ahem* photos of fine femininity, I always have to restart Netscape to clear out the memory black hole it creates.
