If you hadn't heard, nVidia bought all the intellectual property of 3dfx. So if you just bought a Voodoo 5, you bought an nVidia card . Here's to hoping Matrox stays afloat until the G800 at least

70 million in cash and 1 million shares totaling 37 million in value. so they got rid of 3dfx for only 107 million dollars. not bad when you think that 3dfx was once the biggest graphics company in the 3d market.
