I was wondering if anyone knows how to associate a certain file type with a specific software. To be specific I have both realplayer and Windows media player in my computer and I want all video and audio clips that can be played with WMP to be associated with it and not with realplayer. I.e. when I click on ,for example, an mpeg file, I want WMP to start, not realplayer as it is now.

Go into Windows Explorer, "view", "options" and go to the file type tab. You can make your changes there. If you're stuck drop another post.
