Good Bluetooth headset?

I want to get a headset so that I can talk with people while I'm at the gym. I'm going to be switching phones soon and now that the iPod Touch does bluetooth, I figured I might as well get a bluetooth headset instead of a wired headset for my phone.

What are some good ones? Looking to spend $20-$30. Thanks!

Re: Good Bluetooth headset?

I've got two of these. One for my phone and one for my PS3 and they work great for an inexpensive BT.

Is it really loud? I've used 3-4 BT headsets in my life and they're always too low.

If your are using it with your iPod Touch, you probably want to go ahead and get a stereo one for listening to music. It's loud enough, I use it while cutting the grass. Quality is about average for earbuds.

I'm the wrong person to answer that as I have exceptional hearing. They do have volume control on the headset to increase or decrease the volume.

I would have to agree that for music listening I would look at the stereo headsets but I do believe they're a bit more than you're looking to spend.

Re: Good Bluetooth headset?

If you're looking for one that is very loud, try the Plantronics Voyager Pro.

Looks big, but when it's on your ear, no one can really tell there's a back part on there.

If not that one, try the Jawbone (newest iteration is the Prime).

Re: Good Bluetooth headset?

I heard the Voyager can connect to 2 phones at once. Anyone have experience with this.

Re: Good Bluetooth headset?

A lot of BT headsets will do that.

Re: Good Bluetooth headset?

So you've done this? With the Voyager?

I'm talking about using 1 BT while it's paired with both phones so that both can be used on the single headset. I've heard

Re: Good Bluetooth headset?

I have used my Voyager Pro while connected to my PS3 and Blackberry simultaneously. When the Blackberry rings I get a tone in my ear, press the button and answer. When I hang up I get re-connected to the PS3.

Also, to the OP, the Voyager Pro is ~$100 so well above your price range.

Thanks! Verizon had a sale on it Saturday for $40 off but I missed out.
