Anyone else having problems with Firefox?

After Thursday's update? Ever since then I get the "failed to connect" screen. I.E. (shudder) has no such problem.

Have you tried running it in "safe mode" to see if the behavior persists:

Start -> Programs -> Mozilla Firefox -> Mozilla Firefox (safe mode)

?

There's a bug in Fx 3.0.2 (password issue) and Fx 3.0.3 will be released next week. If you can't wait, search for Fx 3.0.3 RC

No problem for me.

But I'm glad to say that I'm using Opera at the moment

By the way, Firefox 3.0.3 is out--the browser automatically updated from 3.0.2 to 3.0.3 on my system with no problems.

Congratulations, I have 3.03.

I think I'm going to revert back to Firefox 2.

Someone who now has a limited account decided to download a free trial of Norton Internet Security. I just spent a bit of time terminating Norton with extreme prejudice. Problem solved.

It's been running slow on my Mac so I've just been using Safari. At least for now...

You know, I like to know where are all these people getting problems with Firefox 3.0.x versions. I'm using it right now on my HP Pavilion a6400f running Windows Vista Home Premium Edition (SP1) with no problems (I've only had the browser crash a grand total of once in three months' use since Firefox 3.0 came out).

I never really liked Firefox 2.0.x because that was a totally ridiculous memory hog.

It's been my experience that Firefox can be somewhat temperamental and can conflict with certain programs/configurations.
