Moving ITunes?

What is the best way to move ITunes to a new computer without losing everything? I would hate to lose all my purchased songs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to de-authorize your old computer first (they (the songs) will only work on like 5 computers at a time and then you have to call and argue with an apple person to get them working again).

Then basically (if on a mac), just copy the entire itunes folder to where it should be in your new computer. And then I always launch from my itunes library, haven't had any problems with this thus far. But have only done this on PPC machines (same OS so it should work the same on Intel as well).

Also if you want to move everything, apple has a migration assistant.

Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger tip: In Mac OS X 10.4, Setup Assistant runs after installing Mac OS X 10.4, just as in Mac OS X 10.3.4 or later. After that, Migration Assistant (found in the Utilities folder) can be used to transfer data from a different Mac (or partition that has a previous version of Mac OS X via the "From another volume in this Mac" option). More.
