Firefox bookmark problem with Vista

We got a new Laptop (Sony Vaio) with Vista Home Premium and I installed Firefox (2.0.0.12) and imported my bookmarks and it looked ok:

but when i shut it down all the folders in the bookmarks get "compressed":

They are all still there in the blank spot, and I found that if I move a folder (like the bottom one to the top) they will all appear just like normal, if I drag the bottom one to the middle only the folders from the middle down will appear. Has anyone seen this problem? Any solutions? I all ready know of the "get rid of Vista" solution and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox. Thanks for the help.
