Speakers for MP3 Player

I'm looking for some speakers to go with my Sandisk 200e series MP3 player. I want them to be fairly portable (e.g. pack in a suitcase). I would be looking to power them from the wall A/C. I'm going to be taking trip to Amsterdam in June, and want to have something fairly decent to listen to while in the hotel room. Any suggestions?

I have been thinking about getting this for mine.

Altec Lansing inMotion iM510 speakers for SanDisk Sansa

it is just low on my list of priorities now, so I haven't looked too much further.

They can be had in some places for high $60's

I have this one from Logitech (PN 970174-0403) that I use with my Sansa e280:

It comes on sale once in a while for around $15 to $22 . Sound is decent and its quite portable. It comes with AC and can also run on 4 AAs. The only downside is that it doesn't have a volume control so you'll have to rely on your MP3 player for it.

I did use it on a recent vacation and used it to play my music in the hotel room. Overall, I've been very happy with this speaker.

Here's are the only places that I found that has the speaker for what I paid, otherwise, its listed at around $70 at Buy.com, Amazon, etc.

Also, keep in mind that many of the speakers that are made specifically for the iPod have .28mm input jack for connecting with other brand MP3 players through their headphone jacks.

I like the JBL On Tour. Very portable, can run off of batteries as well as ac, and surprisingly good sound in a small package.

BTW, how does the flat-panel mm28 Logitech speaker sound? I used to invest in NCTI (Noise Cancellation Technologies) in the 90's, which begat NXT, but it always remained a penny stock. The flat panel stuff is cool. Also, these are available on eBay for about $25 shipped.

Overall I'm happy with the speaker. However, it's not going to rival a Bose SoundDock or something in that arena. For what I paid for, its great and I love the portability of it. Again, most of my use for this speaker is at my desk at work and occasionally when I travel, at the hotel room.
