iTunes: Logged on, and 2 Disney movies started downloading...

I didn't buy them; one is a 24 minute movie, one is some clip from High School Musical.

I can't figure out if I paid for them or not; I know I didn't click to purchase them though (and no one else here did, either; my wife has no idea how to start iTunes for crying out loud).

Anyone ever encounter this?

P.S.

Just noticed that these silly things were allegedly "purchased" in June 2007!! Somehow, they magically started downloading tonight...

I don't get it. Not only were they not purchased (and, if they were, it was an accident), but it took them 8 months to register.

Weird.

Do they show up in your purchase history?

You can setup your iTunes account to require a password for purchase, which could help prevent accidental purchases.

Yeah, usually when I'm drunk I morph into a pre-teen. After purchasing these, I had my mom drive me to the mall where I bummed a smoke and bought some killer hightops.

Next?

Did you get the e-mail receipt?

Nope. No e-mail receipts or anything. Really weird.

Possibly it was some promo that just started downloading itself? Who knows. I don't really care if I paid for it or not, I just don't like random things downloading.

In June, Disney did have the two free downloads. I was under the impression it was just like the free songs, where you had to click to download it. Do you usually grab the free stuff Itunes offers? As to why it took this long to download, no idea.

Hmm. No, I definitely don't. I pretty much use iTunes to search for songs, and that's it. I don't ever even pay attention to the home page.

When I saw that the latest iTunes "update" had to do with nothing except them launching a video-download store, I passed. I've never used their store and never want to.
