Vista Laptop to WinXP Home Network??

Searched and saw someone with a similar problem, but the thread died with no resolution posted.

Well, I am wanting to add my HP Vista laptop to my home network. Both my home pc's are running XP Pro. Using a D-Link wireless router. My main PC is in the bedroom and using cables to hook it up to the D-Link. The living room PC connects via a Belkin wireless PCI card. No problems with my to desktop PC's seeing each other and sharing folders. But, I cannot figure out how to add my laptop to my network.

Any help or links to help would be appreciated. The more dumbed down the better!! I can build PC's in my sleep, but networking...ugh!!!

You can't see your wireless network from your laptop? It should be as simple as opening up the wireless network configuration in Vista and finding your home network.

No, the laptop easily connects to the internet, I just could not get it to join my home network (couldn't see it on my XP pc's). But I finally figured it out. I forgot to change the group on my laptop from the standard "workgroup" to the network I created "Home Network".
