Problems with iTunes Store

Is anyone else having problems with the iTunes Store right now? I haven't been able to purchase anything today (even the free single of the week). It gives the following message:

"We could not complete your iTunes store request. The network connection timed out. Make sure your connection settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again."

This sucks, because there is a lot of music I wanted to d/l today.

Oh, I can still access all parts of the store and listen to clips, etc... it just won't let me purchase anything. All my settings are normal... iTunes doesn't pick up on IE settings does it? Because I turned off some activeX stuff due to the hijack ads from this site? Would that do anything to iTunes?
