Burning an ISO file to a CD help

I have the latest firmware update for my Samsung HD-DVD and want to burn it to a CD using Roxio.
I tried burning it as a Data disc but the player says there is nothing on it.
Can anyone help please?

go into properties and set it to burn ISO image...

i went to Nero years ago becasue at that time Roxio was plain old unreliable for burning my Solaris ISO images to CD... in fact it was notorious for it back then...

a lot of UNIX folk are still pretty much Nero to this day...

but i have no doubt Roxio has resolved that stuff...

don't use the wizard... set it to burn ISO image... you're good...
