Hotmail.com issues!!!

For the past couple months since msn switched over to Windows Live hotmail. It has been a chore to try to access my email account!

Basically I get the white page with a 'can't connect to site, possible reasons why...' page. Or I get just a blank white page and can't go back to the main msn or hotlmail sign in page. And also sometimes I can't even get to the sign up page and have the previous two things happen.

And it's not just my laptop that is having troubles. Since I've tried accessing hotmail at school, and still run into the same problem. Occasionally I will stumble into my account after trying to go back to the main page.

I've had the same issue and it is really pissing me off. Usually it takes a couple refreshes for it to come but this afternoon, that's not even working.

I've tried refreshing as well and nothing happens. I did briefly get in my account at school today. But then quickly it went bad when I tried opening an email or going into another folder.

And then when I came home,I couldn't get in until hours later. And I posted this message in the time frame to see if I was the only one with the problem.

I haven't had that particular issue, but I hate the new Hotmail!
I let them know it too.

Everyone should let them know what they think of it...........
If they get enough complaints, maybe they'll do something about it.

What is wrong with people?
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I've had no problems with it. I've been able to access it just fine, and I've been happy with the changes they made.

I don't have any complaints with LiveMail. I occasionally get the connection message but it's only once very few weeks. I got them with the old version of hotmail, too. I figured it was just a random server issue.

(I use the classic version after trying the super-duper version for a bit.)

Yeah but it is a hassle to switch e-mail accounts, addresses and take the archive of e-mails I've acquired in the 10 years I've had hotmail.

I have a separate hotmail account for fantasy football and that is Live mail. Yuck. I sent an e-mail out last week with 12 recipients in the TO: field. As a result, it stretched the message box out so far that the text just keeps on going over as I typed instead of doing normal wrap/carriage returns.

I agree - it wasn't broke so why change it.

Yeah, you can read gmail with Outlook/POP3.

Also, gmail gives you (right now) just under 3 gigs of storage space, so needing to store email on your HD isn't a huge necessity unless you get a lot of large image files.

Are you using the pay for version of hotmail? If not I would change if I were you. I lost all my hotmail email because I didn't login for a long time. I think I went twice as long without checking my gmail account and all my mail was still there. I don't think they even have a time limit.

I've never paid for hotmail. Who's stupid enough to pay for hotmail?

I don't have a problem with it. It is a little slower for me but I can get through all the time.

Have you tried using Firefox? Firefox is a free download if you haven't got it already!

Good luck.
