PowerPoint question re: viewing with a projector

I have a PowerPoint presentation tomorrow. Several of my slides have additional notes included with them. Is there a way to display my slides in full screen through the projector, but still have my PC in windowed mode so I can see the notes? I swear I've seen this done before, but can't figure out how to do it.

yes.. connect to the projector.. go to display settings and see if you have multiple display options (under settings tab, display
chose the second option and check the option to expand my windows desktop to this monitor..
this will make the proxima work as a 2nd monitor.. on the first display, make sure its check to use this device as the primary monitor.. then you can put your slideshow fullscreen on monitor2 (projector) and have your windows desktop still showing on monitor1 (laptop display)..

your options may vary based on type of video card, video drive/app installed, etc..
but you should be able to find where to expand to multiple displays and control what is shown on each..
