Need To Restore "Shutdown" Icon

Well, here we go. I recently downloaded a torrent file that had a virus. The virus basically erased the "shutdown" icon in the start menu (only the "logoff" icon is there). I don't know much about viruses but I think somehow the virus led my computer to believe that there was another Administrator for my computer and disabled (under my user account) the option to shutdown from the start menu. Hope this makes sense.

Is there anyway to restore the "shutdown" icon on my user account how it was before?

Here's what the Microsoft site says about restoring the shutdown button. I'm assuming you're running one of the Windows XP platforms they list at the bottom of the page.
