iPod video file transfer help

Just got a iPod video (it has the latest software as does iTunes), I'm trying to get quicktime trailers onto the iPod and it doesn't work.
On iTunes it's on the movie page ( from the list on the left ) and I have the iPod on auto sync but it still refuses to transfer it over.
The file does have the .MP4 tag at the end.
Any ideas?

If you've downloaded the trailers to your computer, just drag them from iTunes to the iPod manually.

Also, i never could figure out iTunes myself, so I used Media Monkey, which made life so much easier.

Do you mean open up the ipod harddrive and just drop them in the video folder?

No, I mean manually drag and drop items from your iTunes library to your iPod.

When you have iTunes up and running, the panel on the left side of the screen shows your available sources. Library is what is on your computer, Store is the iTunes Music Store, and if your iPod is attached it will show up in that panel as well.

Go to your library and find the file you want to transfer to the iPod, single-click on it and drag it to the iPod.

I'll give that a go tonight.
Hope that works, thanks Mr. Salty!
