Converting .avi files to .mpg files?

Subject says it all (but I'll say more ). I need to convert the avi's to mpg's because my photo hosting site will only host mpg's. Is there good freeware/shareware for this? I'm not a movie/video editing buff, so don't plan on doing any editing, I just need a simple/easy way to convert these.

Thanks!

For freeware, I like SUPER because it has yet to not handle a format I've thrown at it.

On a related note...any way to convert an AVI to WMV? Free is better. I need WMV to play the videos through my XBOX 360. The Super product listed above does not do this conversion. Thanks.

Thank you so much!! I can't believe I missed that. I was on the Videora site downloading the free ipod converter software and must have passed right by this one.
