what happened to yahoo emails junk/spam filter?

it used to work great - i could just hit "delete" and erase all my messages in my junk mail folder. never got one spam in my main mail folder. now im getting more and more crap getting through. what happened? did those spam artists learn ways to get around it?

I'm wondering the same thing. About 3-4 times a week, a few pieces of spam will get through and some Google Alerts will get sent to the spam folder.

I read article somewhere that spammers found a way around anti-spam system. I hate to say that we will see lot of them sometimes soon.

I am having the same problem as well. Seems to have gotten a lot worse in the last couple of months. Is there any point of clicking the spam button vs the delete button. Most of that shit is coming from a different email address every time. Is there not a way block email sent from a specific IP address? Seems like that would work better.

Yep, noticed a lot more spam getting through Yahoo and our work spam server. Mostly those damn JPEG stock ones, which is the newest trick.

I finally got a decent filter working on my home computer to catch those JPEG stock ones - it's been a huge pain in my ass.

How'd you get a filter to block those jpeg stock ones? Would love to know, been having problems with those crap myself.
