Something weird just happened in XP.

We have two accounts on our computer - one's passworded, and one isn't. Just now, I had switched off (note: I did NOT log off, just used the Switch User function) the passworded account, and my wife had logged onto the account that wasn't passworded. I needed to check a program that I'd left open on the passworded account, so my wife switched users really quick, and I tried to get into the passworded account...only it wouldn't accept my password. Didn't have caps lock on, or anything like that. So I went to go back into the non-passworded account...and it gave me a password prompt. Neither account would open, regardless of what passwords we tried.

I rebooted the computer, and everything's normal.

Has anyone ever heard of this happening?

Maybe the filter or sticky keys 'feature' was on and f up the keyboard function. not sure. I hink I actually have had the same thing happen a couple times a while back and a reboot fixed it too.
