Other forum (Deleting?)

This is probably stupid, but I'm stupid on some things.

I sometimes post at this other big forum. Last night, I quoted a long message, and posted a quick random response. The message I quoted was really for anyone in the thread. I went there today, and it totally disappeared. Now, whenever something is deleted on that forum, it shows "Post deleted", by one of the mods. I don't think I've ever seen something totally disappear like this. It's also an exact same forum like this one, vbulletin. My reply was a sort of sly remark, I don't get it, if people would get offended by it, so I don't know what happened.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'll gladly answer any questions.

Why not post your question on the forum that you mentioned? They may have different rules there.

As for this forum... the mods can completely delete a thread if so desired, with no trace left. Also, the original thread starter can delete a thread even if others have posted responses.

I don't want them to think I'm taking it personally, lol.

Yes, I can't figure out what this has to do with Tech Talk.

Yes, read my first reply again and/or post your question on the forum you're refering to. It's impossible for anyone here to give you a direct answer as it has nothing to do with this forum or it's rules & features.

If it was a thread like this one, I can understand why they would delete it!

Okay, I'll think about posting it over there. Also it wasn't my thread other there. It was reply to a huge quote in the thread. I hope I didn't piss anyone off with the reply, which I don't really know why I would, and if I didn't, I don't understand it disappearing, no sign of a deleted post, no warning, etc. Just weird.
