should I "upgrade" to IE 7?

I have 6.0 now...is there any advantage to "upgrading" to 7.0?

i actually just upgraded last night. seems cool so far although it will take a while to get familiar with some of the features. is there any way to customize the location of the refresh button? i don't like it where they have it by default.

I don't think there's any reason not to... it's not any worse than IE 6.

This may be a reason to NOT upgrade. The toolbars up top are NOT nearly as customizable as IE6.

Plus some software that uses a skin over IE may not be compatible.

That is true, my address bar is pretty big on a 24 inch wide screen.

The tabs are nice. I can't find any "Go" button to click on for a typed in address, I'm having to use the ENTER keyboard key.

If I hadn't already switched to Firefox years ago, the lack of customizability with IE 7 would have been pushed me to using an alternative browser. While there are a few new features that I do like, they don't overcome that lack of customization.

Very true. It's why I've used Opera for about five years now.

If you type in the URL isn't it easier and faster to just hit enter while your fingers are on the keyboard than having to grab the mouse and click it and then wait some extra time for the page to come up?

Either way, the go button is still there. All you have to do to get to it is make a change in the address bar and the refresh button will turn into the go button.

I've been using it for a couple weeks now and ... it's definitely got glitches and bugs and issues. So much so that I'm seriously considering "upgrading" to IE6.
