Question for those of you who use and ipod and itunes.

I plan on buying a second machine and wanted to know if you already have itunes on the current machine and install it again on the second, will it wipe the ipod's hard drive if you plug it into the new machine with the new itunes install? Don't think it would if you use the same username and password in the new install of itunes, but just wanted to ask those of you who may have had experience. Thanks in advance.

I haven't done it myself, but my impression would be yes, depending on a few things.

1) Your ipod is set to automatically update
2) You don't have the same songs and playlists on both computers (if 1 is true)

If both 1 and 2 are true, then I cannot definitively say your ipod will be fine.
If your ipod is not set to automatically update, then your ipod will not be erased.
