Floppy drive problems (yes, I still use a floppy drive!)

I know floppy drives a bit superflous with the convenience of flash drives and what-not, but I still use mine regularly...until a few weeks ago. Though Windows tells me the drive is working correctly, every disk I throw at it (full or empty) gives me the same error: "The disc in drive A: is not formatted". To make matters worse, it tells me that Windows is unable to format any of the disks. When tested on another computer...they work fine, of course.

Any ideas? I tried re-installing the drivers, but it doesn't correct the error.

Please help me catch up to 1992.

Sounds like the floppy drive itself may be giving up the ghost. Can you pop it out and check it on your other comp?
