Bandwith vs streaming video

I'm setting up a site for a small indie film, and I have the trailer streaming as .wmv

How is bandwith (as in allotted bandwith from web host) impacted by streaming video, and how can I calculate estimated bandwith usage for the trailer?

Is based on file size/duration?

What's the calculation?

The trailer is two minutes long, and currently is a whopping 26mb file. I'll probably need to reduce the file size/quality.
