How to clean an LCD monitor?

How to clean an LCD monitor?

Title says it all. I've been using a microfiber cloth on it to get rid of dust, but it has a couple of smudges on it that require some sort of cleanser. I've read water only, or water + rubbing alcohol. Thoughts?

try klear screen. i think Fry's carries it (if you don't want to order online)

however,i gotta say it doesn't work for me, my monitor is perpetually dirty. Thanks mods!

I've used Klearscreen as well.
