DVD Burner Newbie ??

DVD Burner Newbie ??

I just got my 1st DVD burner. If its a DVD burner and says +- RW does that mean it wont copy onto DVD+R Discs?

No, you're good. It just means it does +/- R, as well as rewriteables.

I've got a question pertaining to a DVD Burner. I've got a MacBook and it can burn DVDs but do I need a certain program to copy a movie onto my computer and then burn it?

You might try reading the rules of a forum before you post there.

Asking for or providing help in copying copyrighted materials

we can't ask about making backups of material we legally own?

It doesn't matter what you legally own. If you have to break copy protection, to make a backup copy of it, it's illegal, in the USA. There's some countries where it's not illegal. Finland being one...............

And that's our reasoning behind part of the rule. But we also don't allow copyright violation to be discussed, such as distributing copies of TV programs and that sort of thing.
