New Motherboard Old ECC Ram

I am looking for a motherboard for my AMD 64 3700+ processor but I currently have another board in there that is running with 4 x 512MB sticks of DDR2100 CL2 ECC from Apacer. I want a board that has 4 sata ports but really I want to know what boards will support that ram and also some ddr 3200 that I will upgrade to in the future. the one I am really looking at is a ASUS A8N-VM CSM http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16813131570

The ASUS forums arn't too helpful someone over there said they got it to work with ECC ram but not sure if that was 2100. Any sites I should look at?

Thanks

I dont' see why 2100 shouldn't work as long as it's a standard DDR slot (not DDR2). Most motherboards support ECC, and they should be able to run at any number of speeds 2100,2400,2700, etc.

I'm not up to date on new processors and memory but isn't the PC2100 memory too slow for your processor?

the system that is using the 4 sticks of ram is a AMD XP 2400+

I don't think memory can be TOO slow for a processor, it won't be ideal but it should work.
