Help with saving an image off a webpage please

There's a photo I want to save from a website. The right click is disabled. It is my understanding that if you're looking at an image on your computer screen, its already saved on your computer. Am I correct?

I tried doing a file search for what I believe is the file name (unsure of the extension) but there was no results. I tried looking in the "c" drive, under "windows", under "temp" folder, then under "temporary internet files" but didn't find anything.

any help would be a lifesaver! thanks!

Three ways.

1. disable javacript then right-click - save as etc.
2. click on empty spot on page - not on the pic, select all - paste in MS word.
3. use print screen.

With Firefox, it's in tools > options > content.

with ie, i think it's a bit more complicated, but i think just put the security tab on high and back to medium later should do it.

Print Screen:

Press your "print screen", open any graphics program (like ms paint), and click edit... Paste. Then save it where you want it. Should work.

I'm using IE (not the best, I know). I tried changing the security settings as you suggested, Ranger. It didn't do anything as far as enabling the right click again. Any other suggestions/help?

I'm interested in the actual file, TheMadMonk. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think print screen will give me the actual file, just the exact image on my screen.

I am pretty sure that putting the security tab on high should disable javascript. Maybe try refreshing or restarting IE.

edit: otherwise, try it with firefox.

You can drag it to an outlook email, or a Word document.

I just tried closing and restarting IE after changing the security settings. It worked, as far as disabling Java and enabling right click. however, the image is no longer there once I do that. All I get is a 1/2 inch long and one pixel wide sliver of an image. I'll try the dragging into outlook option.

In IE just go to View-->Source.

It opens the HTML in a text file, just figure out where the actual link for your pic is, then paste the complete address into another browser.

It's how I pulled my newborn's hospital pics.
