Urgent Help Needed: I need a driver update for my GFX card...but can't find one.

I have a not great by any means Radeon X300/X500 Series GFx card and the version of my driver is 6.14.10.65.75.

I just bought Half Life: Episode 1 one and it won't run until i have updated my Gfx card driver. I have been to the link it gives but i still can't locae any new drivers for my card. Please please please can someone help. I am desperate to play this game.

Cheers

I would think you should be able to play HL the original game without any new drivers. HL2 maybe, but not HL1. Have you received any kinds of errors or have you tried playing the game without the latest drivers?

Well HL and HL2 both work fine. As does HL: Lost Coast and HL: Source. So i was surprised that it wouldn't let me play Episode 1. I load the program through Steam and i get to the title page. I click to start a new game and thats when the problems begin. Game only loads half way.

Does anyone know what might be wrong?

Catalyst drivers are the ones you want. As with any video card drivers, it is best to uninstall the old ones first, go to standard VGA, and then install the new ones.
