Temporarily Transferring Cable Internet Service?

I currently have Comcast cable internet service at my home. This summer I will be spending 7 days at a beach condo that has Comcast cable TV service.

I was wondering if I would be able to access the internet at the condo if I brought along my cable modem (and a splitter).

I tried calling Comcast, but that question seemed to baffle them.

Short answer is maybe.. if you are on the same head unit you probably can (ie close geo area), but this sounds like its further away... so .. it may or it may not work
