Internet Explorer (Not Responding) & slow XP...

Hi. I am using a laptop with XP. i have highspeed cable. i clean my cache and other stuff. When im ready to look at a profile on myspace, i see the top of the page and links, but i hear the hardrive spinning but the page still hasnt finished loading. i used to be able to hit the stop button or hit escape to stop loading the page , but i cant, plus up above i get the (Not Respnding) message. And the computer starts acting slooooow. What can i do? Is there a program i need to delete. Something i need to check or uncheck? thanks fr any help.

Before that, Have IE open and Go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>under the "Browsing" section, un-check the box that says "enable 3rd party browser extensions(requires restart)>Click OK. Exit IE.

Re-Open IE and check the problematic page. If it still persists, MoPower it. If it acts correctly and you are running XP SP2, you can disable the Browser extension.
