Corrupt video file: Fixable?

I have 2 home movies that were shot with my MiniDV (.MOV's). They used to play fine, but now they get to a certain point (around 50%) and I get a message saying they are corrupt. Seems strange that they play at all. Any way to fix a corrupt video file??

Thanks,
S2
