Guaranteed file copy???

Hi,

I need software that will guarantee a file copy over my LAN. I am trying to copy a large volume of data (1TB, about 220,000 files), and my LAN seems to have the odd hickup. It is very hard for me to find out exactly which files have not been copied, so I was hoping there is some software out there that can help me.

What I am looking for is a program that would automatically retry the copy in case of failure, and if the copy really wouldn't work, would log the file (or directory) it cannot copy, and move on to the next file.

Thanks for your suggestions.

PS: I know, I should try and fix my LAN, which I am trying to do as we speak, but still, such a piece of software might come in handy regardless.

This was more meant for data recovery, but should do what you want

I also agree with twicky - robocopy is a good option
